Open your own website and pretend you have never heard of your business.

Can you tell, in a few seconds, who is behind it? A real business name, not just a logo. A sign that you are actually in Dubai. A phone number that works when you tap it.
Now look at the top of the screen. Is there a padlock next to your web address? Most visitors couldn't explain what it means, but they notice when the browser says 'not secure' — and many quietly close the tab.
None of this is design. It's trust. A visitor who doesn't know you yet is looking for small reasons to believe you're real, and your site either gives them or it doesn't. The businesses behind these sites are almost always genuine; the site just forgets to say so.
These are usually the cheapest things on a website to fix, and among the most expensive to leave alone.
