Before calling a business they've never used, most customers do a quiet background check.

It takes under a minute, and it happens on your website.

They look for the padlock next to your address. They look for a real business name, not just a logo. They tap the phone number to see if anything happens. They glance at the footer for signs of an actual company.

None of this feels like checking. It feels like hesitating. And if something is off — no padlock, a contact page that's clearly old, a name that doesn't match what they heard — the hesitation usually wins, and the next tab gets the call.

A test you can do right now: open your own site on your phone and pretend you've never heard of yourself. Is the padlock there? Does the name on the site match the name people know you by? Does the phone number actually dial when tapped?

These are small things to fix and expensive things to leave broken. Trust is rarely won on a website — but it's quietly lost there all the time.

The free check I run looks at exactly these signals, among others. Send your link on WhatsApp and see what a stranger sees: https://TechBiz.ae
